Is it possible Friday's Princes Ball Mardi Gras Masquerade Gala at Cipriani's 42nd Street had anything to do with the Saints winning the Super Bowl last night? With carnival costumes and black tie attire up the wahzoo, we're sure Brees and the rest of the Saints played extra hard so they'd get the chance to show us what a REAL Mardi Gras gala looks like. The Crown Prince Alexander and Princess Katherine of Serbia held the event to benefit the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization, which provides aid to people in poverty and medical equipment for children with a variety of special needs. DJ Miller Cruz and Drama's Samba School and Rhythms provided the "pulsating beat of Brazil," which no doubt inspired people to shake themselves in ways they hadn't done since the Beatles' first trip to America or since Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were an item. (Some of these ladies and gents are probably still feeling the pain from all the cha cha-ing it on this bright and sunny Monday! We wish them all a speedy recovery.)
