Whitney Biennial 2010 Member Preview Party

[All photos by Maz Rapp for PMc] Today, the long awaited Whitney Biennial exhibition at the Whitney Museum of Art opens to the public. Yet last night, members of the museum enjoyed the opportunity of snagging a last minute sneak peak look at the collection!

On Monday, Febuary 23 the Artist Council of the Whitney Museum of Art celebrated their devotion to the artists at their Biennial Party held at MxCo. On the following night, the Whitney invited VIP guests to check out the artwork and mingle with fellow socialites. For the final Biennial party last night, members of the Whitney Museum of Art took their turn in previewing the artwork.

After three nights of partying and sneak peak showings, the exhibition is finally open to the public. This year, the exhibit features the work of 55 young and upcoming artists. By the looks of this party, even the members of the Whitney Museum of Art were enthralled by the collection!
