MoMA PS1: Night at the Museum 2014Where: MoMA PS1 Other details: On Saturday MoMA PS1 hosted their annual Night at the Museum party, allowing guests to enjoy and celebrate the artwork after dark. Guests walked into the courtyard to see a large dome which served as a bar and lounge for guests to relax in. While many guests took advantage of the setting for drinks and dancing, most headed inside the museum to observe the amazing collections. On the ground floor, Maria Lassnig's work drew most of the attention. Her distinct oil paintings were a highlight, and guests were intently observing them before uploading pictures to Instagram. The featured artist upstairs was German filmmaker Christoph Schlingensief. His surreal and often shocking films were playing on loop to mesmerized guests, who couldn't pull away from the strangeness of it all. VIP guests headed to the rooftop, where the forgiving weather allowed for cocktails and dancing with the backdrop of the New York skyline. There MoMA's Klaus Biesenbach celebrated the event with Out of Order magazine founder Dorian Grinspan, musician Casey Spooner, and model Lily McMenamy. Go HERE for more photos by Patrick MacLeod!
