Other details: Last night, Dia Art Foundation’s Young Associates held the Dia Fall Night After-party at the foundation's future space in Chelsea. The massive, brick-lined space was dimly lit as the night began, kicking off with the ethereal, experimental soundscapes of electronic music duo, Matmos. Accompanied by a series of offbeat, almost Lynchian short films, the musicians manipulated their synthesizers to fill the room with music we're sure none of the guests had experienced before. After a finale of fantastical choral harmonizing, the room lit up and a DJ took over, playing everything from Kanye West to Stevie Nicks while guests gathered at the long bar for wine and champagne.
