    Fashion Week has officially started and there were a flurry of presentations and parties last night. Kanye celebrated mens designers with GQ, Jessica Alba played ping pong with Susan Sarandon, animal lovers celebrated PETA with Tim Gunn, and so much more. Take a look below to get your fashion fix.

    Other Details: DJs Nick Zinner and Mr. Alexander Dexter Jones spun the launch party of Waris Ahluwalia's new accessories line. A man of all trades, Ahluwalia is iconic as a designer, actor, artist, fashion muse and style icon. The party looked like a movie set as The Citizens Band sauntered around in feather headdresses and embellished leotards. Guests kissed, drank and posed for multiple group photographs. With parties like this, who doesn't want Waris to love them?

    Other Details: The trifecta of Kanye, Kid Kudi and Aziz Ansari is one that we'd love to be a part of. Models, designers and musicians alike joined together to celebrate new menswear designers at the iconic Ace Hotel. Reports Racked: "The Ace's lobby was transformed with a series of lighting rigs and centralized groupings of existing furniture on which six models representing each line posed for the full two hours. The set-up allowed the very, very long list of guests to travel along the full perimeter of the room—having access to a beer bar, a full bar, a variety of butlered-around nibbles, a very busy coat check. Fabulous in theory—difficult in reality: There were ten million people there, and they definitely started to get punchy! " [Via]

    Other Details: The fashion crowd took a brief break from brand presentations and runway after parties to check out the first New York solo presentation of RETNA. Roitfield and Valmorbida presented the graffiti show in collaboration with VistaJet and Bombardier Aerospace.     Other Details: Susan Sarandon's greatest were screened at BAm followed by an after-party at the actresses ping pong club spin. Plenty of A-listers were in tow with jessica Alba Tweeting: : “Met 1 of my heroes 2nite at Spin NYC Susan Sarandon!… She’s everything. She is the coolest woman ever.     The Cinema Society with Altoids & Grey Goose hosted a screening of "Cedar Rapids".

    Other Details: The film cedar rapids focuses on a stunted adult that goes on a business trip and discovers himself via wild antics and sexual partners. Ed Helms proves his comedic timing in the Hangover wasn't just a fluke as he delivers a hilarious performance in the flick. Plenty of people came to the after party where they dined on chicken and pasta as a band played jazz music in the center of the room.     Other Details: Tim Gunn hosted this event that feted PETA at Stella McCartney's Meatpacking store. The designer herself was not in attendance, but guests didn't seem to mind.  There were videos and speeches and lots of talk of cruelty as lady Bunny spun. A woman walked in with a giant fur on and when a PETA-ite complimented how nice the faux coat was, she responded with offense that it was real, clearly not knowing what event she had walked into.     Other Details:Don Hill's was the place to be for Fashion Week last season, hosting Iggy Pop, Courtney Love, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and more. How this season will play out for the gritty club remains to be seen, but last nigh was a good start. While there were no live bands, there was some amazing music and some ladies in bras and panties dancing on the bar. [Via]
