    Other Details: HBO's upcoming miniseries, "Mildred Pierce," the network's adaptation of James L. Cain's 1941 novel, stars Evan Rachel Woods, Kate Winslet, and Guy Pearce. Guy told USA Today of acting opposite Kate:

    "She's someone I've had quite a crush on for many years. So suddenly there we are, naked together. It's a weird job. I'd go home to my wife funny enough and say, 'I had sex with Kate Winslet again today'. She admires Kate as much as I do, so it was okay." [Via]

    Other Details: Guests came out to support the LGBT community and enjoy cocktails, dinner and an after party. Lawyer, activist and Broadway producer Tom Kirdahy was honored. Angela Lansbury and U.S. Representative Barney Frank presented the award and David Hyde Pierce performed. Alan Cumming told NBC Niteside he is hopeful gay marriage will be passed in New York this year, and says it seems as though the issue has regained momentum. [Via]

    Who Was There: Michael Cusamano, Tovah Feldshuh, Bruce Vilanch, Rachel Dratch, Carson Kressley

    Other Details: Tovah Feldshuh hosted last night's pageant. Mr. Chiacgo, Michael Cusumano, took the crown beating out Mr. Mary Poppins, Mr. Anything Goes, Mr. Spiderman and several others. All proceeds from the evening benefit The Ali Forney Center, NYC's primary housing resource for homeless LGBT youth. [Via]

    GAYFEST NYC Annual Fundraiser "Spring at Last!" to Benefit Students at the Harvey Milk School

    Where: The Loews Regency Hotel

    Who Was There: Michael Urie, Cortes Alexander, Emily McNamera, Wanda Sykes, Marty Thomas, Justin Bond

    Other Details: Author, political strategist, civil rights activist and public affairs advisor David Mixner was presented with the Community Service Award . Wanda Sykes, who headlined the evening,  had a busy night. Tweeted: "Had a wonderful time at the Gayfest benefit for the Harvey Milk HS In NYC. Now on my way to see Janet Jackson at Radio City!"
