Where: Paramount Hotel Who was there: Guests included Danny Burstein, Nick Cordero, Tyne Daly, Linda Emond, Harvey Fierstein, Lena Hall, Neil Patrick Harris, Joshua Henry, James Monroe Iglehart, Ramin Karimloo, Andy Karl, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Adriane Lenox, Douglas McGrath, Alan Menken, Idina Menzel, Jessie Mueller, Kelli O’Hara, Estelle Parsons, Anika Noni Rose, Tony Shalhoub, Isabel Toledo, Mare Winningham, Charlotte St. Martin, Heather Hitchens, Nick Scandalios and William Ivey Long. Other details: The sun blazed down on the reporters, cinematographers and photographers as they waited for Broadway actors to walk the red carpet. Dozens of food and clothing tents filled West 46th Street in front of and around the Paramount Hotel. Guest arrived at 5:30 p.m. and all cameras began to take action. The press was very excited to see the arrivals of Tony Shaloub, Idina Menzel and Neil Partick Harris, among others Broadway stars. A few minutes past 6 p.m., all guests were seated inside the Paramount Hotel while cocktails and drinks were offered. As the crowd came to silence, various awards were then given out to its recipients.Three recipients were awarded the 2014 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre: Joe Benincasa, Joan Marcus and Charlotte Wilcox. Rosie O’Donnell received the Isabelle Stevenson Awards and Jane Greenwood received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
