Where: Le Bilboquet
Other details: Last night, the French institute Alliance Française held their innagural Art de Vivre awards dinner honoring Ladurée USA co-presidents, Elisabeth Holder Raberin and Pierre Antoine Raberin. The evening started with an intimate cocktail reception in FIAF's gallery paying homage to French culture through hors devours and art work throughout the gallery. Stéphane Kossman's "Black and White" exhibit acted as the backdrop for most of the conversation, as guests reacted to timeless black-and-white shots of celebrities walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. Afterwards, the event moved next door to Le Biblioquet for a seated dinner and presentation of awards, as well as a live auction. Guests were treated to items off the regular Biblioquet menu including a salmon tartar and Cajun chicken with the restaurant's well-known french fries. During the live auction, guests were offered the chance to bid on one of a kind trips to France and private tastings at both Ladurée and Daniel Boulud's Skybox Vault in his namesake restaurant, Daniel, while enjoying desserts by Ladurée.
