Other details: Last night, Friends of the Children NY hosted their annual "An Evening With Friends" event, co-chaired by Janet Y. Larose, Peter Kolp, Christopher Rollins. The evening was Mc'd by Eyewitness News' Anthony Johnson. Upon entering The Yale Club, guests greeted with feather boas, pearls and fedoras to fit the event's Old New York theme. With 50+ silent auction items up for bid and a number of gaming tables including craps, roulette, black jack and texas hold 'em, the night exceeded all past events in terms of attendees and funds raised. Friends of the Children NY changes the destiny of New York City's most vulnerable children, one child at a time.
