Other details: Last night Christie's was filled with celebrities, art enthusiasts, and philanthropists who took part in the Inaugural Oceana Ball. Guests including Oceana Ambassador Kate Walsh, Chris Hemsworth, Elsa Pataky, and Sami Gayle arrived on an event-appropriate blue carpet for a quick photo-op before heading into the JW Marriott Lounge for custom Grey Goose cocktails. After the auction, officiated by Lydia Fenet of Christie's, Olivia Cipolla sang for the crowd to kick off the after-party. The event raised approximately $1 million in proceeds via the live auction of fantasy lots curated by Oceana, the largest international organization dedicated solely to protecting the world’s oceans.
