Other details: Last night the African Children's Choir Gala was held at City Winery, honoring Nashville star Connie Britton with the ChangeMaker Award. Singer Sheryl Crow showed up to support the actress along with Red Hot Chilli Peppers drummer Chad Smith. Smith also signed a drum as part of the auction, and it ended up going for $12,000. The African Children's Choir is comprised of children from impoverished countries who have lost one or both parents to poverty of disease.
