Abdullah Qandeel "Open Versus Closed" Private Viewing
Where: Trump Soho Penthouse
Other details: Last night, Amanda Brown Artist Management presented artist Abdullah Qandeel's newest show "Open Versus Closed" at the Trump Soho penthouse. Guests made their way to the top of the building, and were in awe of the breathtaking views of the city. Champagne and Belvedere vodka cocktails were brought around, as well as an array of small bites, as guests mingled and looked through the exhibition booklet. Only after asking around, guests realized the actual artwork was on display a floor below, so they made there way down the stairs to get a look at his abstract paintings. Dozens of works were shown, and Abdullah made the rounds with groups of viewers, explaining the ideas behind the work along the way. For the rest of the night guests were walking between the floors to check out the artwork and then head to the top for the party, where DJ Alice Q was on the turntables.
