You can barely walk around downtown without tripping over one of The Grey Dog's many locations. Chelsea, the West Village, Union Square, Nolita. If this place weren't always so unassumingly charming and quaint, I'd say it was pretty suspiciously aggressive. Head over to their original location on Carmine and a snag a seat at a table near the front for some nice window light to enjoy their Delaware Baked Oatmeal. Not a clue what makes it from Delaware - perhaps it's a specialty of the little apparently oatmeal loving state, but this block of oats is a revelation.
