The Wayfarer
What: Inexplicably, The Monarch Room partners Eric Marx and Lisle Richards weren't satisfied with one restaurant so they've also opened The Wayfarer in Midtown—but we're not complaining. After their recent opening party, the duo have proved to wield their same magic touch uptown, and managed to bring in a crowd that rarely makes it past 14th Street (The Monarch Room on 15th being an exception). Seafood is the focus here, and with the recent resurgence of Midtown restaurants, Marx and Richards are looking at a stellar year ahead.
