Tavern on the Green
What: Tavern on the Green isn't exactly a new restaurant—it opened in 1934— but after closing down in 2009, excitement has been building for it's imminent revival. Despite being half the size of its former incarnation, the restaurant booked 600 reservations for the opening weekend brunch. In addition to a vegetable-driven menu, there will also be a 'Green To Go' window for on-the-go bites. Summer in Central Park has never been more appealing.
