Brooklyn Fare
Last but not least, our round-up of the best tasting menus in NYC would certainly not be complete without including Brooklyn Fare, Cesar Ramirez's three Michelin starred project that reinvigorated the city's culinary craze. To call what you'd be getting here a meal would be a grave injustice, it is more like a spiritual quest to culinary enlightenment. If you don't believe in magic, Ramirez is out to change your mind. Each bite in his 20-course small plates extravaganza will transport you to a place far beyond your imagination, where anything is possible. At merely 18 seats, a spot at this kitchen counter is one of the most sought after and coveted prizes in the city. Reservations may be highly difficult, but not altogether impossible to score - the best way is to call and get your name put on the waiting list and sometimes unexpected spots will open up.
