Indian actor Dev Patel gives a riveting performance as Jamal Malik, the experienced 18 year old, in Slumdog Millionaire. The movie has gotten rave reviews (scoring a whopping 92% on RottenTomatoes), and from the people we've spoken to who went to see the film this weekend, is justly warranted. It is a feel good, inspirational film staring (along with Patel), Irrfan Khan, Anil Kapoor, Madhur Mittal, and is directed by Danny Boyle.
