West 3rd Common Room is a great bet if you are near the NYU Campus in Greenwich Village. It is comparatively quiet and you can enjoy a decent amount of conversation while enjoying the tennis matches. The place is also known for brunch so don't worry about having a horrible bar food experience. The Common Room has board games as well, in case all that tennis gets you in a competitive mood.
