Lyft
As one of Uber's biggest competitors, Lyft functions on a very similar platform; download the app, enter your credit card information, and request a driver. Not to mention, comparatively to Uber, Lyft is fairly generous with first time use and referral coupons. However, stuck in bum-fuck Brooklyn at 4 a.m? Somehow ended up in Jamaica because you drunkenly decided it was a good time for a "vacation"? In New Jersey (God forbid)?! With fewer cars, I wouldn't count on Lyft for when you truly need a lift. On the other hand, if you're looking to avoid the rainy walk to work, definitely look to the pink stache.
