Booze Up Your Thanksgiving Dinner With Tequila Gravy Because Why Not?

by Stephanie Maida · November 20, 2020

Some people chose to get sober during quarantine, others... not so much. If you're of the latter camp and have taken pride in stocking up your bar cart this year (and maybe even learning how to shake up a cocktail or two), we've got the perfect addition to what's already set to be an out-of-the-ordinary Thanksgiving dinner: Tequila Gravy.

    Because, why the hell not?

The, quite frankly, genius idea comes to us from the folks over at Teremana Tequila (which happens to be owned by none other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, so that's fun), who have blessed our inbox with the very easy, very boozy recipe.

Simply add 1 oz. of Teremana Tequila for every 16 oz. of gravy. Whisk over heat until combined.

Boom, your Zoom solo meal or intimate Friendsgiving situation has been instantly upgraded. Mashed potatoes and stuffing have never been this exciting.

And if you happen to be in the market for more holiday-appropriate ways to consume tequila, why not try their fabulous (and very fall) "Spiced Pomegranate Manarita"?

    You'll need:

    1.5oz Teremana Blanco Tequila

    1oz Pomegranate Juice

    .75 Cinnamon Syrup

    .5 Lime Juice

    2 Dashes Orange Bitters (optional)

Then shake and strain into a double old fashioned glass. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and orange wheels.

    Cheers... appetit!
