It's that time of year! The Glass House is back with their highly anticipated Summer Party. On Saturday, June 9th from 12:00-4:00pm, kick off the season with a farm-to-table picnic by South End, rosé by Whispering Angel, lawn games, and a highly curated auction powered by Paddle8. The event will also feature the music of Philip Glass + John Cage performed by Brooklyn Rider.

Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a new exhibition in the Painting Gallery with work from the Glass House permanent collection, some of which has not before been shown to the public. Guests will also have the opportunity to preview a new virtual reality experience that simulates the restored interior of the Brick House, which remains closed and requires much needed restoration.

If you can’t wait until June 9th to join in on all the fun, start bidding on the Summer Party benefit auction, powered by Paddle8, on Friday, May 25th works by Andrea Zittel, Dustin Yellin, Lawrence Weiner, Lindsey Adelman, The Haas Brothers, Rita Ackerman, luxury trip packages and many more unique art and design items. This year’s Summer Party artist, Jenny Holzer, will create two limited edition mirrors in support of the Glass House. Ticket purchasers at the VIP Friend Level and Platinum Table Level will receive an edition as part of their donation. Select Mirror A or B as illustrated above. To reserve one from this edition please contact Isabel Richards at irichards@theglasshouse.org or 203.978.3011.
