Howaboutwe.com is a dating site that hooks up users based on their dream dates and where they would like to go. “The Date Report” is a funny side note to the online dating aspect of the site. “The Date Report” reads like a blog, except with the following underlying message: dating, in all, is actually fun.
We spoke to one of Howaboutwe’s writers (and former GofG editor!), Chiara Atik. Chiara, a writer for the site since 2010, reveals the humor in dating with articles like, “9 Things To Do When Someone You Like Friends You On Facebook,” and “What Your Drink Says About You On a Date.”
Chiara refuses to call New York as a dating battle ground,
"New York's kind of become a scapegoat for people's dating problems, which is silly. If you're single, it's really not because you live in New York. Also, just a personal grievance I'd like to air after dating in the city for a long time: don't take your self too seriously, it's so gross."
