Money

For the love of God please stop dropping numbers like your net worth, how much the initiation fee for your country club is, or the cost of your watch. It's tacky, gauche, and classless. No one wants to hear it because chances are if you're that obsessed with talking about money in the context of a casual conversation, you're probably pretending to be rich or you're just compensating for your insecurities. Either way, it's way try hard. It's New York, it's crazy expensive, and even those who are making six figures a year are complaining about how the rent is too damn high. So why bring up money when it will either turn into a pissing contest or remind people how everything good in life is way too pricey?
