Beer-Garlic Soup
Ingredients
12 oz bottle beer; your choice
2 tablespoons butter/olive oil
2 cans Campbell's Condensed Beef Broth
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper; pizza pepper
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon thyme
1 whole head of garlic; cloves separated, peeled & chopped
Small baguette
Directions
1. Peel and chop the garlic, '
2. Heat the butter/oil over medium heat in a 2 qt. pan. When butter foams add the garlic & stir for only 1 or 2 minutes, add the beef broth, beer and pepper and thyme.
3. Raise heat, bring to a boil, reduce heat & simmer for a few minutes.
4. Slice bread and serve.
