The Sensualist
My goal with the brand was to get people to turn their three-minute self-pleasure session into a 30-minute ritual. When I first started exploring my sexuality, I found that sex shops were all promising a product that could lead to your "fastest, strongest orgasm ever." I thought that sounded great and soon built up a collection of powerful toys that could get me off in two minutes flat. I had fun, but after a while orgasm became just a release, and I was left bored and disconnected from myself.
In order to feel more like an active participant in my pleasure, I started getting more of my senses involved and explored all the ways I could make my overall life experience more sensual.
The Sensualist is a community of people expressing sensuality through shared stories, experiences, poems and art. We are also an online store with a range of products to help you expand your pleasure potential. They've been scrupulously vetted (read: tried and tested đ) to hit a bunch of criteria including uniqueness, range, smart and attractive design, non-toxic and body-safe. We also focus on carrying smaller brands helmed by passionate founders we can relate to.
