Red Hot Margarita
Chef Rick Bayless of Frontera Grill in Chicago calls his Red Hot Margarita a liquid taste of Red Hot candies. We can't wait to test this one out for ourselves.
You will need:
1/2 of a 7 oz. box of Ferrara Red Hots
2 c. water
1-1/2 tsp. ground Mexican cinnamon
1 tsp. light brown sugar
1 tsp. grated orange zest
1 whole clove
3/4 c. (6 oz.) fresh lime juice
1/4 c. (6 oz.) granulated sugar
3/4 c. water
1 c. (8 oz.) El Tesoro blanco tequila
1/2 c. (4 oz.) Gran Torres orange liqueur
Ice cubes
