If you thought the margarita was the signature cocktail of Mexico, you were wrong. Ask the local population and they will tell you, their favorite variety of icy tequila is the Paloma.
You will need:
Ice
Kosher salt
Grapefruit wedge
1/4 cup fresh grapefruit juice
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, and
1 teaspoon sugar in glass; stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in
1/4 cup mescal or tequila
1/4 cup club soda
