Michael Alig aka the Party Monster definitively portrayed by the aforementioned Macaulay Culkin aka the most infamous club kid in the history of club kids was released from prison last week after 17 years. Some former scenesters reveled, some were repulsed, and most just observed the ensuing media hailstorm with passive curiosity. Just an FYI, it's not the best idea to follow up your newfound freedom with a post-prison press tour complete with all the lurid details of the murder you committed. Yeesh.
