After some preliminary research, I learned that male waxing - even "down there" - is becoming more and more popular amongst all ages and demographics. In the age of Magic Mike, men have shifted from a simple trim of the shoulders, to going all out bare body. The possible reasoning you ask? Looking cleaner, aesthetics, or, perhaps out of the pure laziness of not wanting to shave. Not that the visual enhancement of down there isn't also a big draw.
