When left to my own devices, I am an aggressive consumer of non-fiction. And while that sentence may make you think that I'm knocking out presidential biographies like it's nobody's business, in fact, unsurprisingly, I'm all about a society story.
I've been slowly working my way through this brick of a Bunny Mellon biography for months, just finished The Silver Swan: In Search Of Doris Duke, which was very very well done, and have decided that it's time to dig into the most iconic society event New York's ever seen, Truman Capote's Black and White Ball.
