The Basics
Now in its 12th year, the Tribeca Film Festival got its start when founders Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro and Craig Hatkoff sought to celebrate NYC as a film-making center. Since 2002, over 3.7 million people have passed through a festival screening.
Running from April 17-28, you can catch feature films, documentaries, and film shorts chosen from over 5,000 submissions and coming from around the world. Venues vary for each screening, so make sure to check out the interactive
