Casey Johnson, Heiress To Johnson & Johnson Fortune, Dies At Age 30

Apparently, some of the Celebrity Death Curse of 2009 has lingered on into the beginning of 2010: Casey Johnson, daughter of New York Jets owner Woody Johnson, and fiancee of Tila Tequila died today of natural causes.

The world first learned the news from Tequila's twitter, which she has been updating regularly (six times in the past two hours alone).  Somewhat hypocritically, Tequila's most recent tweet reads:

@officialTila I'm still in shock! Once again thank U for the outpour of love and support. I just wish to have some privacy at this heartbreaking time.

It seems a little counter-intuitive to ask for privacy when you've been publicly sharing expressing your sorrow, (along with confusing updates about Casey being in a coma which were later refuted by the LAPD) but maybe she's just blinded by grief. Given the trying circumstances, we'll give her the benefit of the doubt.

Casey has been getting a lot of press for her disturbing behavior as of late (remember when she broke into her ex-girlfriend's house and left a used vibrator behind? Yeah. Not her finest moment), and became engaged to Tequila only weeks after they started dated. The word "drug addled" inevitably comes to mind, and her twitter feed can at best be described as erratic, including weird too-much-information discussions of her sex life.

Right. Well.

From all appearances, despite a seemingly happy childhood Casey lived a pretty sad life. Recently, her mother took custody of her adopted daughter Ava, after they were found living in terrible conditions due to Casey's drug problem. Casey's parents recently ceased all financial assistance.

Despite the seemingly tragic circumstances, Casey's last tweet seems a hopeful one:

@caseyjonsonJnJ sweet dreams everyone... I'm getting a new car.. Any ideas? cant b a two seater cause we have a daughter...sedan, sports car, suv??

Hopefully, certain young starlets who have been accused of similar lifestyles (and we won't name names) will take the recent deaths of Brittany Murphy and Casey Johnson as wake-up calls, and will take the steps necessary to turn their lives around before it's too late.
