You Should Know: Acme's Jon Neidich

Jon Neidich

Jon Neidich, the owner of Acme (9 Great Jones), knows a thing or two about creating something that the hip will flock to. Since partnering with Indochine's Jean-Marc Houmard on the space, the results were pure culinary/nightlife magic. Now, the duo plans on taking their credible crews over to the LES. We are looking forward to checking out the duo's "Tijuana Picnic" on Essex street later this year. And finally, if two hot dining spots weren't enough, Neidich took over the "Kingswood" lease at 121 W 10th street and is debuting a two-story bar called "THE HAPPIEST HOUR" with bartender Jim Kearns (Play, NoMad). Add this to the wedding-of-the-year to Alessandra Brown outside of Lucca, Italy (which was a "who's-who" of NYC power players), and Jon might just be the busiest man of the year!
