The World's First Beer Hotel Promises Taps In Every Room

by Stephanie Maida · February 23, 2018

Personal taps, a built-in beer fridge in the shower, all just steps away from an internationally-renowned brewery? Talk about "a room with a brew."

The world's first craft beer hotel is set to open in 2019 thanks to BrewDog, a Scotland-based company that originally made headlines last year when they decided to crowdfund a 50-room concept connected to one of their new outposts in Columbus, Ohio.

While the U.S. version is still in the works, it seems they'll actually be debuting their first beer hotel in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, right next to their main headquarters. Dubbed the "DogHouse," the 26-room escape will offer the perfect vacation for beer snobs and dudes with handlebar mustaches.

According to BrewDog cofounder James Watt, "The DogHouse is our gift to passionate craft beer fans making the pilgrimage to our brewery in Aberdeenshire. The idea of opening a beer hotel has always been high on our agenda, and now we are finally able to realize that dream, right here at our HQ. This will be the ultimate destination for craft beer fans seeking hops with their holidays. This is a beer Nirvana."

Sure sounds like it! We just hope they'll be supplying loads of condoms to go with all those beer goggles.
