Natalia Vodianova Hosts A Most "Casual" Picnic... Kind Of

by Christie Grimm · May 15, 2020

Slowly but surely the world is starting to trickle back to work and a new normal we've yet to define. For Natalia Vodianova, that means hosting a seemingly impromptu team building picnic session with coworkers from her charity Naked Heart Foundation, which besides throwing some of the most over-the-top parties ever, supports children with disabilities and special needs.

Now, I say impromptu because this al fresco occasion seems to possess a far more last-minute production value than her normal fêtes. There's paper plates and cups, and like a communal quiche (or a pizza?). But in true Supernova fashion, there is one ultra luxe element - Louis Vuitton picnic blankets. Now I don't know about you, but even if I had like 10 Louis Vuitton wool or cashmere blankets lying around, I still wouldn't throw them on top of dirt and invite people to pop a squat and dig into lunch. But to Natalia, Louis Vuitton merch must in some sense not only seem, but actually be disposable.

In case you forgot, Natalia isn't just a supermodel, she's also married to Antoine Arnault, the CEO of Berluti, and Chairman of Loro Piana.

And oh yeah, that's right, Antoine's father is Bernard Arnault, who runs LVMH.

And if you're still not getting it (insert eye roll here), LVMH is the parent company of basically everything interesting in the world - from Moët Henessy and Tiffanys to Belmond Hotels and - thank god, yes, you finally guessed it - Louis Vuitton. Honestly, please familiarize yourself with their list of brands.

Ah, to be the princess of fashion's most luxurious maison!
