Art lovers gathered Wednesday at the Marianne Boesky Gallery to watch art writer Lindsay Pollock moderate a panel discussion between veteran dealer Marianne Boesky, art advisor Wendy Cromwell, and collector Jerome Stern. Both novices and connoisseurs were welcome, although we assume the novices tried to look like connoisseurs, and the connoisseurs tried to look low-key, so as not to seem like jerks.
Who are we kidding? The connoisseurs probably wore signs on their backs that said I AM AN ART CONNOISSEUR ASK ME HOW. Oh, those connoisseurs. How jealous we are!
