The Democrats: Joe Biden
Joe Biden, our very own Vice President, may be running for president. Even though Biden has made very few moves to set up a campaign, there have been recent murmurs that he will begin start promoting the Biden name come September. With the recent tragic passing of his son Beau, we can only imagine focusing on work must be very difficult, perhaps the reason for his slow start. It has been noted that both of his sons, Beau and Hunter, were in favor of his campaign for the 2016 presidential election, this along with the recent murmurs makes us think Biden will be putting his bid in for the White House in the near future.
Previously occupying the role as a Delaware Senator, Biden is a Democrat currently serving as the 47th United States Vice President. At the age of 72, he is one of the older candidates running for office. With Hillary Clinton taking an early lead in the Democratic polls, a late start could hurt Biden’s chances of staying in the White House.
Biden has been mainly focused on mediating and resolving many of our budget and financial issues, being a key player in the American Taxpayer Relief Act 2012. We can only imagine that the focus on economic reform and maintenance will only continue if elected president.
