Royal Palace, Oslo
Oslo's Royal Palace is home to the current King and Queen of Norway, and has been home to the royal family since it was built in the mid-19th century. The palace has 173 rooms, only a small portion of which are used by the family. The King and Queen live on the upper floors of the palace, and unlike other royal residences, the street in front of the palace is not closed off from traffic. The palace has been under renovation since 2002, when the King decided that he needed to spruce it up...much to the tax-payers dismay.
