The Royals Head East: Will And Kate's Asian Adventure

Will and Kate embarked on their 9-day long Asian tour on Tuesday.  See their schedule below: Sept 11-13: Singapore - Visited the Singapore Botanical Gardens where an orchid was named in their honor -Visited the Kranji Commonwealth War Cemetary, where thousands of British and Commonwealth troops are buried. -Had dinner with the President and First Lady of Singapore, Tony and Mary Tan. [Kate Middleton, via] Sept 13-15: Malaysia -Kate gave her first international speech at a children's hospice, Hospis Malaysia. She wore a blue Jenny Packham dress for the occasion. -Tonight, the couple had dinner with the King of Malaysia at his official residence. -Will and Kate will attend a traditional English tea party on Friday, and on Saturday they'll travel to Borneo to visit a rain forest. Sept 16-18: Solomon Islands -Will and Kate will spend two days meeting with locals, and sailing, fishing, kayaking and scuba diving around the islands. Sept 18-19: Tuvalu -An island nation of only 10,000 people, Will and Kate hope to bring attention to the threat of rising sea levels that affects Tuvalu. [Photo via]
