Early Life
The now Palo Alto-based Tenev was born in Bulgaria but his family moved to the U.S. when he was five for his parents to work at the World Bank (guess finance runs in the family). He grew up in Washington D.C. and attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
