The First Lady of the White House and wife to President Barack Obama. A graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School in 1988, Michelle has focused much of her career on educational reform. Before stepping into her current position, she took the title of Associate Dean of Student Services at the Univeristy of Chicago, where she created the University's first community service program. In 2012 Michelle launched a country-wide initiative to stop the growth of childhood obesity. Under this platform, called Let's Move!, Michelle aims to give parents support, provide healthier options within schools, and make those options unconditionally affordable for all. Additionally, in 2011 Michelle partnered with wife of the Vice President, Dr. Jill Biden, and launched Joining Forces. The purpose of Joining Forces is to provide support to the nation's servicemen and their families.
