Are Teens Over Facebook?
The media is once again reporting on facts that everyone already knew: Teens are most likely over Facebook, and this is going to possibly/maybe be a big problem for the social network. Facebook, once a platform for teens and college students to waste time on, has become a digital business with a noticeable decrease in young users. According to CFO David Ebersman,
”Our best analysis on youth engagement in the U.S. reveals that usage of Facebook among US teens overall was stable from Q2 to Q3, but we did see a decrease in daily users, specifically among younger teens.”
So what social network can kids be found on these days? Well, according to a recent study, Twitter finally eclipsed Facebook as the most popular social network for teens, with Facebook and Instagram coming in at a tied second. [
