Make Time for Distractions
Although this may seem counterintuitive, setting aside a time to distract yourself can actually help you get more done. If you think something will take you half an hour, give yourself 40 minutes. Get all of your Facebook browsing and blog surfing out of your system in the ten minutes, and then power through your task. This will help with your urge to check social media - as soon as your fingers go to browse, remember that you're already up to date!
