Barbara Pierce Bush & Jenna Welch Bush-Hager
Father: George W. Bush, 43rd President Years in White House: 2001-2009 Barbara's S.S. Code Name: Turquoise Jenna's S.S. Code Name: Twinkle Barbara and Jenna Bush, named for their paternal and maternal grandmothers, respectively, were 19 years old when they became the First Twins. But the White House was already familiar territory for the ladies: they were just seven when their grandfather was sworn in as the 41st President. They spent those childhood days playing hide-and-seek throughout the house, and staging plays in the grand ballroom. By the time their father took office, they were already off to college -- Barbara at Yale and Jenna at University of Texas -- so neither twin lived in the White House, per se. But they each had rooms in the residence, next door to one another, where they slept during breaks. As they wrote to Sasha and Malia in an open letter in 2009: "Now, the White House ballrooms were filled with energy and music as we danced. The East sitting room became a peaceful place to read and study. We ran on the track in the front lawn, and squared off in sisterly bowling duels down in the basement alley." Jenna Bush married Henry Hager in May 2008, but she declined an option that many can only dream of -- a Rose Garden wedding. Instead, she gathered close friends and family at her parent's ranch in Crawford, Texas. Since that time, she has joined NBC News as a special correspondent. She is also the Chair of UNICEF's Next Generation. She and her husband live in New York City. Barbara Bush is the President and Co-founder of Global Health Corps, a nonprofit focused on health equity in Africa and the United States. She, too, lives in New York City, although she travels extensively for work. They both love cats and costume parties. [Jenna Bush Hager, Barbara Bush, George W.
