Yuengling makes good brew. Their Summer Wheat is a hefeweizen ale that has an opaque look which comes from their unfiltered brew process. The ale has a more complex flavor profile than their traditional lager. It’s smooth and lightly filled with the classic hefeweizen banana flavoring. The brew isn’t too sweet though, making it a refreshing summertime drink of choice. It has a very reasonable target price and drinkability which is what brought this brew to our summertime beer list.
