This island in Thailand is a must stop for the legendary full moon parties. While lounging out on the white sand beaches and crystal blue water, a whole night of rum buckets on the beach awaits you. Painted bodies, fire shows, signs with letters written in flames reminding you that this is THE full moon party, and little huts selling very lethal but cheap buckets of booze are what makes this one of the best parties in the world.
The parties are mostly backpackers and travelers from just about everywhere, but that's what makes the party so legendary. Whatever happens, you will wake up with two things: tons of paint on your body and a nasty hangover. If you didn't pass out on the beach, you didn't do it right.
