Wilson Tavern, the small restaurant bar that has become an obsession for Arlingtonians, is having their opening party tonight to celebrate new ownership under nightlife mastermind Reese Gardner--the man behind Irish Whiskey Public House, Mighty Pint and Midtown Partyplex.
Wilson Tavern has been totally gutted with a new sound system, decor, and a new menu. Come on Tuesdays for $2 mahi-mahi fish tacos, or Mondays for 25-cent wings. Like the "old" Wilson Tavern, brunch will feature steep drink prices like $2 mimosas and glasses of champagne.
One thing we are most excited about is the "Brown Flip Flop," a drink that pays homage to the Rainbow-clad people of Arlington.
Come by for the opening tonight! The first 50 guests get Wilson Tavern t-shirts, and there will be an ice luge in play. We will be there taking pictures of it all!
