Washington heartthrob Philippe Cousteau, 32, shocked the audience of 1,700 when he walked arm-in-arm with beauty Ashlan Gorse, 31, and a pup at the Fashion for Paws runway show. Philippe is known in circles not only for being the grandson of the famous oceanographer Jacques Cousteau, but also for his environmental activism and founding of EarthEcho and Azure Worldwide. Ashlan is a correspondent and anchor for E! News, and was the headlining host for the Washington Humane Society fundraiser.
Apparently the pair have been dating for about a year and a half. They met when he was giving a speech in Los Angeles about the BP oil spill for a group called Artists and Athletes.
"It was love at first sight," he told Guest of a Guest.
