Isabel Toledo, famous for designing Michelle Obama's lemongrass dress and coat for President Obama's Inauguration, is coming to Washington on Thursday.
Toledo will be at the Corcoran Gallery of Art presenting her new book, Roots of Styles with Isabel Toledo. The event, sponsored by the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design and the Fashion Group International®of Greater Washington, DC, will include a cocktail reception, book sale, book signing, and a discussion. The discussion will be moderated by Robin Givhan, famous Pulitzer Prize fashion critic, author, and fashion correspondent for The Daily Beast and Newsweek.
