Get your bike and head to the southern tip of East Potomac Park in Hains Point. It is beautifully located between the Potomac River and the Washington Channel in southwest Washington and of course offers breathtaking views of the water and Washington Monument. Ride on the three or five mile paved and spacious loops, plenty of room for passing, and limited car access. Be cautious while crossing the two lanes of Route 395's southbound ramp, however.
